Saturday, December the 8th 2007 there was the “Christmas Bazaar” organised by the “International Women's Association”(IWA) in the Sheraton hotel in Tbilisi. The profit of this fair will go to several charity projects of the IWA.
This year Lithuanian Embassy is participating at the Christmas Bazaar for the second time. Embassy staff wives were working hard for a few months trying to make and organise Christmas souvenirs to be able raise as much funds as possible. Their hand-made linen angels and Christmas gift socks were the most popular purchases.
Team of Lithuanian “wives” says sincere “Thank You” to all the clients, hopes that whole the amount of 800GEL, donated to the foundation, will be spent by IWA for a very good cause and invites everyone to the Christmas market next year.
