Has finished the last NATO CPE project in Khashuri

Today in Khashuri has finished the last Embassy’s project as NATO Contact Point Embassy (CPE).  Project financed by Embassy of Lithuania in Georgia, implemented by Civil Involvement Developing Center.

The training program has lasted all month, during which were prepared20 young specialist, who later were conducting lectures for Khashuri population. Ambassador J. Paslauskas has delivered certificates. In total in the project participated 300 inhabitants of Khashuri.

Ambassador Jonas Paslauskas told about the activities of a NATO contact point Embassy in Georgia with specific focus to the events organized in different regions of the country. Participants of the workshop were introduced to the main NATO institutions, goals and methods of this organization. They could also get more information about preparation of projects for NATO funding.
