In Batumi was held the 10th Conference "Georgia's European Way: EU's Eastern European Partners - Towards the Vilnius Summit"

The 10th International Conference “Georgia’s European Way:  EU's Eastern European Partners - Towards the Vilnius Summit” was held in Batumi on 11th – 12th of July. Lithuanian delegation headed by A. Krivas, the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, took part in  the Conference.

The above mentioned conference is the biggest annual event on European integration gathering top officials of Georgia, as well as officials of European Commission and other foreign ministers and experts. Considering Lithuania’s presidency of the EU Council and the importance for Georgia of Eastern Partnership Summit in Vilnius this November, Lithuania received special attention during the Conference.

During the conference the officials focused on the importance of the reforms and democratic development in the country.
