NATO corner opened in Caucasus University

H.E. Jonas Paslauskas, Ambassador of Lithuania, and Mr. Giorgi Baramidze, deputy Prime Minister and Minister of European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, opened jointly a NATO corner in Caucasus University and met students in order to discuss NATO issues. The main topic of the meeting was NATO-Georgia relations and cooperation instruments, importance of the integration process.  

 

Ambassador of Lithuania stressed the importance of ongoing reforms in Georgia.

 

"Georgia has undertaken important responsibilities by participating in international missions together with other members of the Alliance and partner countries. This highlights Georgia as a reliable partner. It is important to continue implementing the reforms that have been undertaken" - said Jonas Paslauskas.

 

Embassy of Lithuania in Georgia carries out the functions of a NATO contact point embassy from 1st January 2011.
