Photo exhibition about Lithuanian soldiers in Afghanistan

Embassy of Lithuania, acting as NATO contact point Embassy in Georgia, opened the photo exhibition about Lithuanian soldiers in Afghanistan. Venue of exhibition: Tbilisi State Academy of Arts (Address: 22 Griboedov, „NATO Hall“). Exhibition will be open until 23rd December.

The pictures commemorate moments from everyday life of soldiers in Afghanistan, allowing to see better the things which seem to be distant and unfamiliar.

Lithuanian soldiers are in Afghanistan since 2005, leading the Provincial Reconstruction Team (PRT) in Ghor province in Afghanistan. It is a joint civilian-military mission, part of NATO’s International Security Assistance Force (ISAF).
