President Adamkus Wishes Georgia‘s President Happy Birthday

Friday, December 22. (Vilnius). President of the Republic of Lithuania Valdas Adamkus congratulated Georgia‘s President Mikheil Saakashvili on the occasion of his birthday and wished him happiness, strength, good health, and success in future activities.
“The people of Lithuania have very special feelings for Georgia and they fully support Georgia‘s aspirations to join the community of democratic nations of the world. I wish you to retain your resolve to enhance democracy, promote reforms and make rapid progress on the road leading to Euro-Atlantic integration.
I recall with great pleasure the meetings that we had and I am confident that your personal example, energy, inspiration, and hard work will justify the confidence of Georgia’s people, bringing them together to work for the common cause of building a prosperous and secure Georgia” wrote President Adamkus in his letter to the Georgian President.
