Georgian viewers of Eurovision will be able to sing along to the song "Love is Blind", which will be performed in Baku this year. Donatas Montvydas is planning to fight in the competition with the help of this song. The song was recorded in Georgian language last week by the Georgian-born performer and composer Brandon Stone.   B. Stone came up with the idea to record the Georgian version of this song after his resent visit to Lithuania. He found out about TV series "Road of Wine" telling the love story between Lithuanian and Georgian. The series has gathered wide attention both of Lithuanian and Georgian TV viewers. Georgian version of the song, titled "Dabrundi Chemtan", will become a soundtrack of these series.  

"My real name is Besik. In Russian Besik means a little devil. Russians sometimes think I am joking, but I am not. My parents named me in honor of the famous Georgian singer Besik Kalandadze. They have always wanted me to become a musician, and have always supported me. I was ten when the unrests had started in Georgia - my parents decided to move to Israel to my grandmother. We didn't like it there, so we returned to Georgia and then moved to Germany. Later I moved to USA. I became Brandon when I signed my first record contract with "Sony Music". I was told that name Besik Shpetishvili will not do in a show business" – said 31 year old B.Stone.

He hopes that the Georgian version of "Love is Blind" will become popular in Georgia, thus helping D. Montvydas to win the hearts of Georgia’s viewers in Eurovision.

"Donatas has got charm. You can see it in his eyes a desire to become a star. There are artists who sing just because they have to, because somebody has told them to, but Donatas has a big desire to perform, to conquer the hearts of women. He is not only a good singer, but he is also artistic and has got fine looks. I have a good feeling about his performance"- said B.Stone.

The lyrics of a Georgian version of the song was written by the poet Edisher Lomadze. Mr. Martynas Tyla, manager of D.Montvydas, promised that the Lithuanian singer will learn the Georgian version as well before the start of Eurovision contest.

"Foreign producers have already showed interest in Donatas. Eurovision is supposed to open more doors for him. It is beneficial for him to have his song in couple different languages. During the contest this song will be performed only in English. Anyway, if there is an opportunity to perform during the Georgia’s Eurovision party, Donatas will stunn a lot of people"-  said M. Tyla.
