The Embassy of Lithuania invites to participate in Eropean Day of Languages video contest
On 26th of September in Tbilisi will be held the European Day of Languages with several events and contests. Europe House Georgia, British Council, French Institute, DAAD, Goethe Institute together with embassies accredited in Georgia invites to participate in video contest “My European Language”.
Your mission
Get your camera or a mobile phone and shoot a short 2 minute clip named “My European language.” No matter what genre it will be, tell us a story – serious or humoristic, original or simple, short film or an interview, animation or sketch. Be creative and show us what your European language means to you.
Thematic and technical terms
• Duration of your clip should be up to 2 minutes.
• Short clip must be in one of the European languages.
• Equipment - video camera, photo camera or a mobile phone.
All finished clips must be uploaded on YouTube. You should indicate “My European Language” as a title and your full name. Send the link to the video via e-mail to edl@tbilissi.goethe.org
Terms of Participation
If you are age of 14-20 and you wish to speak in one of the European languages, this contest is a chance for you!
NOTE: for all under aged participants parents consents needed.
The course of a contest
All the videos sent to us until 10th September 2012 will be posted on Facebook. The social network users will estimate these videos; the most liked 10 videos will go to the final stage. 10 more videos will be selected for the final stage by the special jury. In the end the jury members will pick out the best video from 20 selected videos. The jury will assess the art quality and the language quality of the videos.
