THE EMBASSY OF THE REPUBLIC OF LITHUANIA IN GEORGIA ANNOUNCES A COMPETITION FOR THE POSITION OF A FACILITIES MANAGER

The Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in Georgia announces a competition for the position of a facilities manager.

Requirements:

An employee holding this position must meet the following requirements:

  1. have at least a secondary education;
  2. know Georgian language at an advanced user level, not lower than C2 and English or Lithuanian or Russian at an advanced user level not lower than the C1;
  3. know how to work with a computer (MS Office software package);
  4. have a driving license that gives the right to drive official vehicles of the embassy;
  5. be able to independently plan and perform one's work, choose work methods, solve problems;
  6. ensure the working space and fire safety conditions;
  7. to be familiar with the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania regulating the activities of the civil service, diplomatic service, diplomatic mission, to know the legal acts necessary to perform the functions of a manager;
  8. do not raise doubts about the person's reliability.

The main functions of the facilities manager:

  1. performs minor repairs;
  2. records, manages and takes care of the embassy's property, prepares reports;
  3. organizes public procurement of goods, services and works, submits reports;
  4. is responsible for the acquisition, use and storage of material values ​​(long-term assets and stocks) located in the embassy;
  5. prepares and executes contracts regarding services and business activities, manages accounts related to business activities;
  6. provides employees with tools and goods necessary for work;
  7. takes care of the cleaning and maintenance of the premises and territory of the embassy;
  8. helps organize the transportation of diplomatic mail and diplomatic cargo;
  9. contributes to the organization of embassy events and receptions;
  10. drives the embassy's transport when it is necessary to perform all the abovementioned functions;
  11. carries out other non-permanent official assignments of the head of the embassy.

An advantage is the work experience as a facilities manager.

A fixed-term employment contract will be concluded with the employee. Official salary from 526 euros (0.5 of the full-time).

Applicants who meet the requirements for the position and wish to participate in the competition, must submit a CV in Lithuanian, English or Russian languages and a free-form motivation letter until October 15, 2024, 5:00 p.m. (Tbilisi time) by e-mail amb.ge@urm.lt. Interviews with selected candidates are planned for October 16, 2024, in the premises of the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in Georgia.
