The Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania makes a call to submit applications for the implementation of the projects for the Development Cooperation and Democracy Promotion Programme in Georgia in 2021

Topics for the projects:

  1. Promotion of small businesses in the postpandemic situation
  2. Solutions for sustainable environment through education, involvement of civil society and sharing of best EU practices.
  3. Promotion of political dialogue and democratisation in the context of the implementation of Georgia‘s Euroatlantic objectives.

The sum of 45.000 EUR will be allocated for all projects.

Funding will be provided for the projects that are in line with the Inter-Institutional Action Plan on Development Cooperation guidelines, adopted by Resolution No. 937 of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania on September 21, 2016 (Valid summary of Sep 19, 2018 No. 961). Submitted applications for projects must conform to the multilateral and/or bilateral strategic agreements between Georgia, EU and Lithuania.

Applicants must specify at least one partner in Georgia and add the partner’s consent to cooperate on project implementation. A partner in Georgia is not obligatory if application for a project is being submitted by an entity of Georgia or by an international organization.

Legal entities and natural persons, other organisations and their divisions of Republic of Lithuania and Georgia are invited to submit signed and scanned project applications and project estimates in Lithuanian or English, according to the established forms (Project Application Form (with annexes) and Project Application Estimate Form), together with the required and, if available, additional attachments by e-mail amb.ge@urm.lt, with the subject line „Development Coop. project topic No. 1/2/3“ (to chose relevant).

Requirement: The project implementer has to have financial deposit or equivalent to it not less than 20 percent of the total sum, required for the project. Financial support from the other international donors or partners also could be considered as a deposit.

Project applications will be accepted till April 2, 2021, 24:00 (Georgian time). The receipt of the submitted Application will be confirmed by e-mail. The Embassy reserves the right to extend the deadline for the acceptance of project applications.
