Visa application form goes on-line

Embassy of Lithuania in Georgia has introduced new electronic visa application processing procedures. All applicants for a short term Schengen visa are urged to fill in the electronic visa application form on-line. Form can be found on the Embassy’s website (http://ge.mfa.lt/, section ‘Visa Requirements’).An individual 2D barcode generated for each electronic visa application form will make the transfer of the data to the integrated Schengen data system much faster and more effective.
Upon the completion of the visa application form electronically, the applicants are requested to print it out and present it to the visa section along with the other requested documents.The Embassy considers that those applicants who have presented a visa application with a 2D barcode on it will have their documents processed within 5 working days after full submission of the documents. Normally the procedure takes up to 10 working days.
